Me:So how do you unit test your java code.
Candidate: I use JProfiler
Me: really cool ! But i'm not talking about profiling just simple unit testing
Candidate: That only ,i always use JProfiler.
Me: So if i give you a java class which has just a simple Add method in it,it simply adds 2 integers and returns it , how do you unit test that .
Candiate : I will run JProfiler and see the object memory etc and the threads...blah blah blah
Me: Have you worked on WebServices
Candiate: Oh yes , Web Service Definition Language right .
Me: Er...i guess .
Me: Have you heard about EAI
Candidate: Yes, it consists of WAR and other stuff
Me: Er.. not EAR ,EAI
Candidate: Oh EAI , it consists of many EARS etc
Me: are you sure about this ?
Candidate: yes .
Me: (Looking at his contact info) hey you stay pretty close.
Candidate:(Beaming)Yes I will come to your office on time everyday.
Me: Er..that was a long interview ..wasn't it ... don't you have to report to work today :p
With too much work and barely getting any sleep for some weeks now , I really dread such things in the morning or any part of the day for that matter !.
