How to reset your Nokia S60 device
eZiText majorly screwed up my Nokia's messaging somehow .
I could only type numbers :-)
So after a lot of trial and errors , the only solution was to do a reset , a hard reset.
Here's how to do a hard reset a.ka formatting :p , a soft reset did not solve the problem
1) Back up your phone setttings , calendar etc by using Nokia's Pc Suite ,its quick.
2) Type the code *#7370# + security code (12345 if you didn't change it) , confirm the message that appears
3) So your device will be as it was the first day. :-)

Other ways to format
1) A soft reset :
You can soft reset your device with the code *#7780# + security code (12345 if you didn't change it) so your device will be back to factory setttings. Your personal data will not be erased.
2) Hard reset: (2nd way)If your phone does not even boot up ! try this .
Make sure your battery is fully charged.
Backup your personal data to your computer
Switch-off your Nokia 6630.
Press and hold 3 keys; Green dial key, * Star key, no. 3 key on keypad and then press the power on/off to switch on the Nokia 6630.
Remember, do not let go the 3 press and hold keys until you see the formatting screen.
After a few minutes when the process is over, your Nokia 6630 will be back to the original delivered system.
This should save you a trip and some bucks at the Nokia Service Center :-)
