"Vedic Metal" is a combination of death, black and speed metal with Indian rhythms and sounds and Sanskrit scriptures interwoven throughout.
It's a sub category of Folk Metal.

I got hold of their new album Brahmavidya: Primordial I .... very interesting stuff indeed.
