Lenovo T60p
I got a Lenova T60p yesterday at work replacing my old T41p and the brand new piece crashed on me !!
I was playing around with its fingerprint recognition software ...I tried the normal fingerprint windows logon and it worked ,now it also has a power-on fingerprint security option , I tried that and it made changes to my bios and thats the end of it , it never saw the day :p
Anways it was sent to IBM and I got a new one today.
The one I have is a pretty loaded...
Processor: Intel T2500 2.33GHz Core Duo
Memory/RAM: 2GB
Graphics: ATI V5200 512 MB !!!
HDD: 100 GB
3 USB ports ,extended battery life @ 4.5 hrs ,a new "FlexView" technology i.e the screen color and brightness maintains from just about any angle you try :-), Wireless Access Connections is greatly improved ,you can also turn the wireless on/off with an external switch, the speakers are better than before and its one robust box!
Of course the best thing I love about the T60 is that it has the missing Windows Key , phew I reallly missed it and I never liked mapping any other key !
I tried Counter Strike on it and the rendering was pretty smooth , I have to try a 256 MB game with intense graphics like BattleField 2 now :-) Bring em on!
